We mere mortals are not the only ones whom have to live with tattoo regret. In fact, tattoos have become quite popular amongst the rich and famous set. However, like everyone, celebrities also make mistakes. For example, there have been countless examples of celebrities who regret their tattoos.
Much like the rest of society, the biggest reason for regretting and removing a tattoo has to do with tattooing someone's name on their body. Another reason that celebrities want to remove their tattoos is simply because they grew up and or no longer want to be associated with the lifestyle.
Some of the most famous celebrities that have publicly announced that they want to remove their tattoos are 50cent and Pharrell. These two celebrities in particular have a substantial amount of tattoos and are removing them to not only change their appearance, but in the case of 50cent, to try and get more film roles.
What Tattoo Removal Options Do Non-Celebrities Have?
Only a very small percentage of the population can afford advanced removal procedures such as skin grafting. Pharrell wants to use this method of essentially taking a small sample of one's skin, having doctors literally grow the skin and then seamlessly sew it over the tattoo. This is a great way to cover a tattoo. It also is estimated to cost over a hundred thousand dollars. Additionally, laser treatments can also be extremely expensive costing upwards of $10,000 in some cities.
The most affordable and least risky removal option is to use a tattoo removal cream or gel. This will take a little longer than using laser treatments, but in the long-run it will save you a considerable amount of money and pain.
